Build Change - Operations & Office Manager

Build Change is an international NGO that promotes and implements sustainable, earthquake-resistan t housing construction. Build Change is looking for qualified staff to support post earthquake housing reconstruction in West Sumatra and Bengkulu. The position below requires strong understanding of humanitarian principles and development ethics, and willingness to work in a dynamic, learning team environment. Operations & Office Manager for Padang Office
Responsibilities: Manage the overall operations of Build Change offices; Implement procurement system, vehicle manual, standard operating procedures, emergency, tsunami and evacuation plan; Hire and manage vehicle and drivers and supporting staff such as Cook, Cleaning Ladies, Security Guards; Develop security plan; Manage the finding and setting up new offices/houses; Troubleshoot IT; Ensure safety and make backups of the electronic data; Create and maintain office files; translate documents and or verbal conversation; Create and update the asset inventory; Coordinate travel plans; Arrange VISA.VITAS/KITAS; Prepare and file contracts for offices/houses; Pay utility bills; and Take care of office appliances and equipment troubleshootings.
Requirements: S1 degree in administration, management, communication or IT; At least 3 year experience in operations/office management, logistics or administration; Organized and enthusiastic; Possess strong leadership and management skills; Proficient with internet, office application and equipment as well as IT; Fluent in written and spoken English; Preferably from Padang.
