IT Specialist
Chemonics International Inc., a leading international consulting firm based in Washington , D.C. , seeks an Indonesian professional for a USAID-funded project in anti-corruption which is a 2 year program that runs through April of 2009.

Primary objective: The IT Specialist will assist the Anti-Corruption IT Advisor with the implementation of IT related activities within all of the project tasks. These tasks will be centered on increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the counterpart agencies IT systems. These illustrative activities may include:

· Assist the Supreme Court and the lower courts to expand their IT capability especially in Human Resources Information System databases development.
· Work to enhance the PPATK¢s current on-line capabilities to receive and analyze STR¢s and Cash Transaction Reports (CTR¢s). This will include the procurement and installation of additional applications software and additional computer hardware, as well as training of PPATK personnel on the use of the expanded system.
· Monitor the progress of the installation of communications monitoring equipment at KPK during the life of this program.
· Assist with the procurement of computers and software and software enhancements for all project Tasks, as determined by technical advisors.
· Assist with e-procurement software issues as needed at the direction of the e-Government Procurement Advisor.
This position is based in Jakarta and starts as soon as possible.

The IT specialist will at a minimum possess the following qualifications, skills and professional experience:
· Minimum 8 (eight) years of professional experience in development of IT systems in support of human resources, budget management, asset management.
· Technical expertise in IT selection and procurement, IT installation, Web systems design, particularly database access and security, and IT security.
· Particular experience in advising non-governmental organizations and government ministries is strongly preferred.
· Website enhancement and design highly desirable.
· Experience training government personnel in IT system operations highly desirable.
· Experience working with USAID preferred.
· Fluency in speaking, reading and writing English
