Mercy Corps - Team Coordinator

Mercy Corps open for the following position:

Maluku:

1. Team Coordinator, with specialization in MFI/BDS – MERP (Maluku Economic Recovery Program)
Responsible to coordinates and supervises program officer(s) in related team, providing guidance, work plan input and support to program officers and for relaying information from Program Supervisor and Program Manager to team members, participate actively in MERP trainings on Community Mobilization, conflict resolution, VERC formation, and other topics relevant to the overall project, implement the MERP project in assigned area and assist when needed in the other areas, which may require extensive travel, assist with strategizing, trainings, and implementation as needed for BDS/MFI interventions throughout the MERP area, assist with process of tendering for contracted projects and monitor contractor work in conjunction with engineering, identify relevant resources/linkages and conduct required research for the communities to successfully implement economic recovery and peace building activities, monitor MERP projects in assigned villages and other target areas (Ambon,
Seram and Haruku) as assigned by the Program Supervisor and Program Manager, complete required reports on a timely basis to keep Program Supervisor and Program Manager informed as to progress and any problems, develop timely work plans and reports on program activities, identify, research, and develop new project ideas that may be of benefit to the target communities, build professional and credible relations with community and government stakeholders, develop related community & project success stories as needed for MERP newsletter, brochures and other documents, assist External Relations Officer with organizing “Opening Ceremonies” for completed projects and other media events, assist M&E technical staff with design and implementation of final evaluation.
